THe Zeeburg camping ground is one of the most enjoyable camping places I ever stayed at.  It is situated just on the outskirts of Amsterdam half hour away from the center by tram.   They have a  great cafe/restaurant which stays open late on the weekends and is a great place to just hang out, relax and meet new people from all over the world.   This place has great atmosphere!  Highly recommended!
